Welcome - bem-vindo - to AISM and the Buffalo Herd!

I am excited to introduce you to the American International School of Mozambique. Situated on a beautiful, 10-acre, purpose-built campus a few hundred meters from the shores of the Indian Ocean, AISM offers the most robust academic and extracurricular programs of any school in Mozambique. Tomorrow's diplomatic, business, educational, and scientific leaders are enrolled in our school today.

With more than 70 nationalities in our tight-knit community, which we affectionately call The Herd, AISM is a place where cultures converge and diversity thrives. Our highly-qualified multinational faculty provides a world-class International Baccalaureate education in service of our mission to pursue excellence by empowering learners to achieve mastery of self, advance their communities, and flourish in an ever-changing world. Woven throughout our program are our core values to: Celebrate Humanity, Cultivate Grit, Inspire Curiosity, and Embody Integrity.
